My favorite part of Spanier's story is that he knew the Second Mile didn't allow Sandusky to bring kids on campus but wants to claim he knew nothing of the situation other than the incident in the campus shower was horseplay. Those two things don't exactly reconcile.

This is just a ploy to reshape his legacy.

It’s like the post in the “conspiracy” thread, it’s pretty amazing that nobody cares about some of the most heinous things that are being conducted, right out in front of the world. They called the bluff that nobody would shut down their program, or even discipline it in the slightest for all that it did. They were right. The nation shrugged. Massive physical violation of children bothered nobody. So, right out in the open, they are well on their way to redeeming it…returning Paterno’s name to things, and welcoming this ass back to glorify all of it. I’ll predict at some point Sandusky will eventually get released on some bull sh1t loophole out of one of his million tax-wasting appeals, and go back up there to wild applause.

Pardon my lack of education everyone but to me......His big line "I only met Sandusky once." has to be some kind of fallacy of logic used as a statement of the guilty, in that no one ever said He was trying to protect Sandusky, it was the PSU football brand that they were covering up for. It's pretty clear when they banned Sandusky from bringing children on to campus that they knew he was abusing kids otherwise why the ban? Saying I only met someone once has no bearing on his guilt, but of course in the small minds of these Pedo U people it is a "make sense" moment....

Not a tiny little box. It's actually huge but he should have known the guy was toxic by that point because the university police had "investigated" a complaint by then and again with the whole Second Mile thing. Can't imagine a "respected" leader of a charity being forbidden by his board to come on campus with a kid didn't at least make a respected academic and president of such a large organization, who knew that was the case, want to know why.

My buddy ironically from another city who listens on the Fan app texted me incredulous the other day. Apparently rapist/cultist Ron Cook, who infamously proclaims Sandusky to be innocent, was drunkenly ranting on the air about not voting for any baseball hall of fame candidates because they don’t pass “morality” standards with him.
