Double-bye predictions

UNC
Louisville
Pitt
Miami

Love the optimism. But can't get on Board with Pitt being in the group until I see what happens with the next three games. Don't have any arguments with the other three though. Going to be interesting. Other than BC, it looks like almost anyone can beat anyone, including NC State who could certainly beat us tonight.

If you said back then, that with a week to go, just one of these would be definitely eliminated from double-bye considerations, not sure who would have picked Louisville.

If we win the last 2, we will get a double bye because I believe Duke, ND, and Clemson will all go 1-1 this week.

I predict, with 100% certainty, that your double-bye predictions will be false fredact.

Louisville is not in the ACC Tourney.

Does Clemson even matter if we win 2 and Duke and ND both go 1-1? We'd be 2-1 against the pod of Clemson, ND and Duke? Clemson would also be 2-1. Duke and ND would be 1-2.

Any idea what the tiebreaker is if there is a multi-team tie?

If two are 2-1, it would go back to H2H.

No it wouldnt, if all 11-7, Clem and Pitt would be 4 and 5 cuz they would be 2-1 in the mini-conference. Next tiebreak is record vs ACC champ and then keep moving down the list. Clemson has better wins so they win that but they are losing to UVa right now.

That only happens if they are 1-1 against each other.

I haven't read the ACC's specific rules recently, but pretty much everyone does it so that if there is a three or more team tie and any tiebreaker eliminates some teams the remaining teams go back to the top of the list and start all over again.

Of course it's the ACC, so who knows?
