Duke game prediction thread

I am not gonna mention a score but there is a good chance for another belly-up on the part of Dixon. In other words, dig a big hole early and then never climb out of it. Like against UVA.

Another possibility..... play competitive then CHOKE in the end like the last game against Ville.

But.... for the sake of variety.... I am gonna predict we are competitive in the first half but get BLOWN OUT in the second half, and end up losing by around 20.

In other words, I am saying Dixon will keep some variety in his dismal end-of-the-year coaching collapso.

I fully understand that Dixon is 100% responsible for the players on the team. But at what point do the players get blame or credit for a loss or a win?

Hint: it's not all coaching. Not for Dixon. Not for K. Not for Izzo. Capiche??

I think our defense is at least improving enough to the point we're not gonna get run off the court. Hopefully the shots fall today for us.

No callapso.

Pittizit... how's your miserable life today?

Pretty miserable I bet, since you're stuck with Jamie for a while.

As has been mentioned by many, things are never as bad as they appear, and never as good as they appear. Many Pitt fans were down on the Panthers, but every game is a new experience, and they came through big today. This was a shot in the arm for tournament considerations, and a big positive for the fanbase. I challenged those who thought Pitt had little chance to win to put their money where their mouth is, as Vegas is seldom wrong, and it showed with the line today. Funny thing is, people around the nation don't think Pitt is as bad as some of the fanbase thinks. Let's hope this propels the Panthers for the remaining games. If anything, it should be a confidence boost, and knowledge that they can play with anybody. They can play good enough to beat good teams, and bad enough to lose to bad teams. They need to always realize that and never lose focus.

if JR plays like he did today and play with that intensity---its fun to watch.

i thought you were the poster going nuts last game, why are you all and mighty now?
I never, not even once, have advocated for Jamie's firing. I thought he coached poorly last game, but I have always been the king of the JIGs.

In this very thread, I predicted a Pitt win. Albeit, by only 3.

Before every game, I think Pitt has a chance to win... I was contrasting that with pittizit, who before every game thinks Pitt is going to lose.

Nothing wrong with being critical in game, or after the game.... but calling a game a "loss" before it is played is what pittizit does, and he was trying to tease me about my eternal optimism.

Well, my optimism paid off..... and he's invisible, like he is after every. single. win. Every one.
