Duzz had a good appearance on the Jim Rome Show yesterday. He was all fired up and proudly raving about our great program history, Kenny Pickett, Jordan Addison, and more.

Rome asked when duzz knew that they had a special player in Kenny Pickett. Duzz said they all knew he was special during his freshman year running the scout team. Then he snuck in this little tidbit "We have another special guy running the scout team this year, but we wont get into that now."

Who is this years scout team QB that coach is referring to?

No need for him to kiss their azz when they will all post articles when Pitt has a bad game. Only the beat writers will post after good games etc. But according to some Pitt and PN should kiss up to guys like Madden. What do you suggest he do if DVE doesn’t invite any Pitt coaches onto their morning show?

Romie, aka Van Smack, Pimp in the Box-used to always bring up in the 1990s-2012(approximately) that accepting an invitation to be a guest in the Jungle would always bring Good Karma, and the Team of the Player or Coach being on the program was almost guaranteed to win their game that week. Or in Charlie Weiss’s case when coaching Notre Dame he wanted the Jungle Caramel(2 Buckets filled). I have not heard Van Smack mention the Jungle Karma much in recent years, so hopefully it still works, and if so, Coach Narduzzi being on his show this week all but guarantees a Win over Virginia today. Many college coaches have limited player media availability before a big game.

The hatred between Madden and Narduzzi goes back longer than that. I have heard Mark mention several times that Narduzzi would not come on to the program after he was hired. I remember him saying at the time that our beloved Duzz "has an attitude of someone who has accomplished a lot, but he hasn't done s**t yet"

Then came the incident 5 years ago when they wouldn't let Mark have any players on his show PSU week. That really pissed him off. He stepped up the name calling (blowhard, Lyke being a charlatan, etc) and proclaimed he would not root for Pitt until Narduzzi is gone.
