Being realistic, in my opinion at the start of the year, I saw Pitt having a 7-5 record. Loses at Okla. State, UNC, Miami and Clemson, were just about certain. One other loss out of the Va. Tech, Ga. Tech and Duke games.
After seeing the team play its first three games (which went as I expected), this weekend's UNC game is now, in my opinion, a toss up. Very impressed so far by the offense. It seems to be getting better every game. The defense, in my opinion, is not as bad as what it appears. In fact, I expect it to perform much better then you would think against UNC this weekend because of what they just went up against in Stillwater.

Its certainly possible that we can win but UNC is a better version of OKST. They have 2 uber-talented RBs, a very good QB, and big play WRs. Going to have to score 40+

Yeah... he struggled at times but he had a couple of really good receivers. And he really only struggled under duress. Too bad Pitt didn't figure that out until the 3rd quarter.

If they have a qb who can throw deep and receivers who can run, they'll get at least 5 explosive plays - we make all qbs look like Heisman candidates---at some point the coverage scheme has to change

OK St. has a terrible pass defense. But we should be able to run all over UNC. Agree, they both have bad defenses.
