This sounds about right. Our two most recent standout LBs, Dennis and Louis, both started as special teams players as freshmen. Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays four games and redshirts, nothing wrong with that.

I don’t follow recruiting too closely, but what stood out to me with Taylor was that he was a high 3* (almost .87 overall on 247Sports) but only had two other P4 offers besides Pitt; Duke and VT. Could be a “diamond in the rough.”
