The committee selecting the playoff teams is the exact same beast pulling the conference realignment strings. It's all about TV revenue. Nothing about this sport is about fair athletic competition for student athletes. It's about which games create the most money and juice. Today is literally the best thing that could have happened for ESPN.

Exactly. 2 weeks ago when Bama squeaks by auburn, were they one of the best 4 teams in all of football that day? One week later they are.

Additionally....(I can't claim this one. Someone tweeted it). Why did the committee continue to evaluate FSU as a top 4 team the past few weeks when they damn well knew the QB was out for the year. Why did that particular criteria change this week?
