Interesting nuggets to discuss. I guess this means that if you want to compete for trophies you need to go into debt, unless you’re owned by 2 states (Man City and PSG), a Russian Oligarch (Chelsea), or LC.

another interesting point is that going into debt will win you Euro and domestic trophies. Unless you’re Tottenham…then you go 800 million in debt and go trophyless over 15 years. Lol.

Now that I look at that list, I’d be willing to bet that a large chunk of the Tottenham, Arsenal and Madrid debt revolves around their stadium financing. Maybe some others too?
