In light of the disappointing loss last night. If you would have told me in October that we would lose Hugley and Dior for the season I would have probably started thinking about listing all of my season tickets on StubHub, if you would have told me that we would be 21-9 and in a 3 way tie for first in the ACC and have a legit shot of making the NCAAT 0n 3/2 -- I would have told you you were completely nuts.
I really don't care where they end up - NCAAT / NIT. I will be disappointed like everyone else but this season has been fun and I have enjoyed the meaningful basketball being back in the Pete and am hopeful again that we have a true foundation to build on and this is the first of many consecutive years of winning basketball and postseason play.
If we miss the NCAAT the NIT and have home games I will be there supporting them and hoping for a NIT title run.
Here's to hoping this class is the start of our hoops rebirth and not just a footnote in Capel's time here.
