He plays within himself. Our other guards should learn to do the same.
You’re going overboard here. Yeah I know you don’t like Femi, I’m not a big fan of his either.
But there is another guy named Burton. He forces things a little too much at times. But with this large void of offense on the floor, I’d hate to see what it would look like if there wasn’t someone to force things.

That’s a nice thought, but if everyone on the floor played within themselves, I’d hate to see how many shot clock violations we’d have.
I think it's actually kind of the other way around. Tonight was, by far, his best game of the season. Probably the best game of his career. He had 8 points, 3 rebounds. 1 assist and 2 turnovers. If, for example, Odukale just played his best game of the season tonight and that was his stat line people would be trying to run him out of town.
I don't understand how you think Johnson is an elite P6 player and Femi is only of A10 quality. Even if people say Johnson is better, it isnt by much.

We were a nice Juco for Femi though. With 3 years left I wouldn’t be surprised if some other P6 takes him as an 8th man.
We looked better last night with Ezy. Is that a coincidence? I don't think so. Femi hasn't really looked great to me at all this season and I was hoping for big things after his last few games in 2020. At this point I'd rather see Ezy take most of his minutes tbh.
XJ is a great athlete, low basketball IQ, and a mediocre outside shot. He single handedly lost the IU game tonight.
I caught a fair amount of the second half. That was unquestionably bad XJ tonight. He was pretty brutal.
Not exactly a high bar. Sort of like the tallest Pygmy in the room bragging about his height.
Brick by brick. If Ezy is our brick in the foundation, it may take a while to build this building. Nothing against Ezy as he is one of the best, if not the best, we have right now at that position. But he's not someone to build a team around. The blame for that rests solely.....oh, never mind. It's not worth the effort.
Ha. He had a dreadful second half. It was a shame because even tho he didn’t shoot it well his first half numbers were solid.
When IU fans were giddy, we warned them what they were getting. After last nights game, they now know. Highs and lows. He is what he is.
Much like McGowens it seems XJ is the same player he was when he was here. Neither really progressed much if at all.
Second half last night he dribbled into trouble a few times, clanged some FTs, and was just the bad XJ we’re all familiar with. Looked to me like he was trying too hard again. He plays hard, just not smartly enough a good bit of the time.
