FCS football starts Saturday

JMU vs Morehead State is on TV this Saturday on the local NBC sports channel here, NBCSW. But I don't see why ESPN or FS1 won't show a few instead of 1000 third rate college basketball games. I'd like to see Jackson State with Coach Prime Time :)

McNeese State v Tarleton State

I’m not sure why I expected these games to be televised, but it doesn’t look as if they will be.

McNeese State beat Tarleton State last week.

I also am surprised these games cant make it onto a TV channel though most are streaming on ESPN+. Even if you figure Saturday's out due to college hoops, you would think there's time available on Sundays.

Some of the college hoops is pretty crappy, like Big South or SWAC, or women's games. You'd think some network would figure a single or a couple football games would draw well on TV up against basketball on 10 channels? But I suppose they have contract obligations.

Okay. I guess that’s alright for their fans, but I doubt many other fans watch.
I look forward to seeing New Hampshire play, if they are indeed playing. Only because a friend of mine's son is a freshman there. Other than that...meh!

My dad will probably enjoy sitting and watching the games. He's stuck at home and bored out of his mind. I'd guess if you're not an FCS fan, you probably won't bother.
I would watch Pitt basketball if they were on, but I'd rather watch some jabronies play football than some random basketball game. I won't watch it on ESPN+, though.

This me exactly, this time of year I watch Pitt Basketball and Penguins Hockey, Otherwise no other basketball or hockey with other teams. I'd watch any football though including FCS or XFL or Arena Football if those things still existed over random non-Pitt or non-Penguins basketball or hockey games.

I am thinking that if we get a break in the weather, I may go to a Duquesne home game. I am also told that CMU (President's Conference) will be paying Friday night home games this Spring. Definitely will catch one of their games if weather is decent

Do you have ESPN+? If so, you can watch it on your TV and you'd never know the difference.

Honestly, I kinda thought ESPN would play this up. Even do a College Gameday. People love football. I would much rather watch FCS football than XFL or some minor league teams I never heard of that they hype the heck out of.

No, I don't have ESPN+, and at this point, I have no intention to get it.

I liked the XFL for the oddball nature of it, the strange rules, some of which where actually good. And their replay review was way better than NFL.

Sunday ESPN3 has Jackson State, if I'm not doing anything, it might be fun to see Coach Prime Time in action! You'd think they could hype the hell out of that! That's more interesting than a run of the mill college hoops game.

Yea, what the heck....Deion Sanders coaching or bull riding....cant believe they arent showing FCS football. A few weeks ago, ESPN was showing competitive carpentry. I couldn't believe what I was watching.

I'm sure the production costs for those other things are way cheaper, that could be it. But Dieon Sanders coaching is an interesting story, what with him trying to lure D1 FBS talent to JSU.

I watched a little of JMU vs Murray State, bad game JMU 52-0. JMU vs Robert Morris on TV next week. is RMU any good? can they give JMU a game? JMU looks really tough.
