He doesn’t fit into Capel’s scheme. He rebounds too well and plays good defense.
He's a better defender for sure, and he's a far better offensive rebounder. This year he has actually been a worse defensive rebounder (think about that for a second), which is what we really need more of, and he's absolutely worse on offense.
He not clearly better, he's a different kind of poor.

He's averaging like 5 and 5, isn't he? I looked not too long ago but that could be off.
There is no way that’s accurate. Not a chance.
Reality check: Present and recent former Pitt MBB and football players and coaches are decent to good mid-major level players, including Frederico. Best wishes and thanks to ALL of them. We need to accept that fact and decide whether we want to go all-in either or both sports or deal with the current reality and try to be the best mid-major athletic program in the country. Whining about where we are now is futile. Either accept it or set the bar higher by making some changes. Strangely, I have begun to realize where we are and feel better. Would be great to go all-in in MBB and football, but it may not happen in next year or three or four because of Heather’s mistakes and her superiors rubber stamping them. May need to do a bit more housecleaning both above and below AD Greene’s level. The rubber stamping of Pedersen and Heather is why we are at the current crossroads.

Exactly. If you could combine what Federiko does well with what Corhen does well you'd actually have a pretty good player.
Each of them on their own, not so much.
Yeah. He'd be one of if not the best front court player with those stats. He is like the 6th or 7th best player on a very good team which I mean as a compliment. He's an important cog at TT.
