What QB has visited this year ?
cant have two kickers on scholarship.. that's what PWO's are for.. really need more OL.I’d be shocked if we get Parks and Pinder. Definitely need a TE. I would think one kicker also
we got 4 DBs, you think we need one more? One or two offensive lineman, te, qb (if good enough), db and call it quits.
Done recruiting by July 1.
Start on 2021!

hope not, he's one injury away from being a starter for a P5 team.. this "future guy" is nothing but message board talk. the new guy is always the future guy on pantherlair. if we get a freshman QB this '20 class, then he'll be the "future guy", and Beville will be in same group as Patti.Keep an eye on Patti's acceptance of being the middle man between the now-guy and the future-guy. Hey it's 2019 and kids get restless more than ever in today's sports. Need QB's.
For what it's worth I think Pitt rolls the dice and doesn't take any QB this year. Right now there are other needs with the few scholarships remaining.Keep an eye on Patti's acceptance of being the middle man between the now-guy and the future-guy. It seems we're are moving in the spread em out direction. None of our running backs are the big punishing backs we have had in the recent past.OL is the biggest need right now.
QB is second
Then good athletes at whatever position
TE - not sure about reaching just to sign one since there isn't much on the radar. Just go 3/4 wide and spread the field.
Think you may be right about Patti. Picket starts until he graduates. Beville is the next great Pitt QB (Thank you Coach Watson)Keep an eye on Patti's acceptance of being the middle man between the now-guy and the future-guy. Don't dismiss Patti. If Pickett shows up and plays like he did late last season Patti may just see a lot more action than many believe this season.Think you may be right about Patti. Picket starts until he graduates. Beville is the next great Pitt QB (Thank you Coach Watson)
I believe Pickett will be much improved, doubt PItt repeats and wins Coastal but regular season perhaps 8 wins and finally a bowl win and close 9 and 4. Wishful thinking for certain for most will have PItt at 6 or 7 wins in 2019.Don't dismiss Patti. One would think... but frankly, Pitt has a strong precedent of Starter For Life.Pickett will need to play a LOT better to start until he graduates.

Yeah, seriously. I honestly couldnt believe I read the message you replied to.
Pickett had one of the worst years of any Pitt QB, and that is an impressive list by the way. To anoint Pickett a starter until he graduates is completely insane.
We will find out quickly, as our running game is completely altered from last year. We will need a passing attack and soon.
Pickett will do great. He just needs the coaches to get out of his way and let him play his game.Well if he plays like he did this season the next two years, and we don't replace him, it means we aren't a very good football team. That said, I expect him to get better with experience and better coaching this season. Whether or not he's good enough to keep the job remains to be seen because he has a lot of work to do from a vision/feel for the game standpoint. He has good to great physical tools, he be has to do a much better job of reading the field and getting the ball where it needs to go. I do think Whipple helps with that a great deal.
