According to Barnes, first allotment of 7,300 sold out. Have asked for more.

This is fantastic news. I'm actually a little surprised. Good job panthernation. See you down there. This is the stuff the fans have to do to prove to the bowls that we will come.

Not going to make an overnight difference, but might make a difference when they are looking at Pitt vs Duke for the Pinstripe bowl.

It would be great if we could sell 10k thru Pitt and get another couple thousand there thru other sources. A showing in the 12k range would be awesome.

I would not be shocked if there were 12K or so there. The previous two times we played at Navy there were close to 10K if not more.

Pitt is never going to be a great traveling school but give us a team that isn't 6-6 or a team not coming off of a crushing conference championship game loss (to Miami and Cincy) and a bowl that doesnt require a flight and Pitt will sell tickets. Not as many as the diploma mills but enough.

Got your tix for the south Bronx bowl yet Pitt hater

I think we had a reputation for traveling well back in 80's right? I was curious about that. Did we sell our allotment to bowls back then? Anyone remember?
