Shows the differences in culture, players and an entire stadium applauding a retiring referee. Respect for those that monitor the rules of the games.
I could not see that happening in the US in any sport. Wish it would though.

That’s pretty cool. But I’m trying to remember, a referee just retired here recently and there was a ton of respect exhibited on that last day. Was it an NHL game? I’m drawing a blank.
