I was curious and looked up last year's CFP rankings that determined the field of 4, and the lowest ranked 1-loss team was Ohio State at No. 7. Several 2-loss teams were in the top 12. And the rest below that had 3-4 losses (outside of Liberty and SMU, who played in lower-tier conferences at the time).

Just an example of how there's likely going to be a ton of shuffling around in the final month of the season. As long as Pitt can win each week, we should be in a really solid position.
It will be incredibly hard to go 4-0 in these final four games, and I'll be pretty stunned if we can pull it off, but if we do it's very hard to imagine we'll get left out. Because there just aren't likely to be many other 0-loss or 1-loss teams in the country vying for these same playoff spots.
