Really good article here from Football Scoop's interview with Austin Peay coach Will Healy. You want to talk about turning around a football program, hearing what the guy in charge thought of the whole process was very interesting. Obviously there aren't a ton of parallels between Austin Peay and Pitt, but there is a lot of good information in here that could apply to Pitt football. Most notably, the HC's relationship with the AD and highlighting the importance of the staff around the team. If you don't want to read the whole thing, the AD gave the head coach full reign over the program and provided the money need to put together the best staff possible and upgrade amenities to make the players understand the importance of the program. Lots of lessons here for Lyke and Narduzzi. Worth a full read if you have the time.
