I'm not guru, but it seems like every year in the tournament multiple teams of unathletic dudes, whose tallest guys are like 6'7", give good team fits with some goofy type of system/ball movement.
No idea if that would be sustainable throughout a season at this level or if other teams would just figure it out. But it seems preferable to at least have it in the arsenal to use instead of having 80% of your team watching Jamarius Burton dribble out the shot clock before settling for an 18-foot fadeaway.

There isn't anything to say regarding change to the offense. In our last 10 games combined, our offensive team efficiency ranks 13th in the entire country and that includes playing 5 road games in that stretch.
There could be some tweaks to the defense, the subs and rotation, etc.. But we are rather inexperienced up front and with that inexperience comes inconsistency such as rebounding and such.
I dont think 2 close losses the last two games would/ should change much going into next game. We played 2 good teams and lost both. Regroup and move forward. Lose the next one or even next 2, then you can consider making bigger changes.
My criticisms are on the offensive end

The offense looked a lot like early November offense. Lots of standing, 1 on 1. Needed a few set plays to get an easy look or at least draw some fouls.
Box out. Players move and share the ball. There ya go. 3rd grade fundamentals and should be quick to correct moving forward.
I honestly have no real problem with our defense this year -
Now we needed to get Hinson off of Filopowski no doubt but their size was going to be a problem regardless .
On offense we need a couple of set plays beyond the high ball screen and the dribble handoffs up top
I’d like more back screens for Greg and Hinson looks on the wings .
Some Princeton type action for Burton and Nike off the ball cutting off high post action
We should have fronted with Diaz with Fede behind for support in a zone defense. Or help man defense.
It wouldn’t matter at all -
Duke’s best offense was a missed shot in the half court .
We went zone , it gave Duke a bunch of offensive rebounds
Our half court defense wasn’t that bad .
I mean Duke didn’t exactly light the lamp .
It was all second chances and runouts from

- We had no one to guard Filipowski. He made us look JV
- They dont shoot the 3 well
- I think Capel felt it could even help us rebounding. Zones dont do that but we were rebounding so poorly I think the
thought process may have been we couldn't possibly rebound any worse. And also maybe putting our better rebounders around the basket.
I dont blame Capel for trying something different because we were getting killed
I blame him for not making offensive adjustments to the defensive adjustments Duke made. And you never ever go zone on a better rebounding team. They were ranked number 7 in the nation in rebounding. Very dumb thinking there.
I didnt say that's why we went zone. I said we were rebounding so poorly, it MAY have been one of the reasons. I doubt it though. You never go zone to improve rebounding but we our rebounding was "all-time" bad so he may have thought the rebounds they were getting were coming from us being caught in rotations and being in out of position from our man D.
I agree that we needed to do something different offensively in the 2nd Half. One subtle change I would have made is if we were just going to go 1 on 1 with our guard vs their big would be to spread the floor more and try get all the way to the rim to possibly draw fouls.....or go super small without a Center and play Sibande more and have him drive drunk into the lane on their big as sometimes he makes those
