At least we arent the Big 12. WVU is in a nail biter at Kansas right now but the game isn't on TV. I went to watch it but can't. Its stream-only on ESPN+, which costs $11.99/month and there's not enough I want to see on there to make that worth it. Most folks in WV don't even have internet access. What a sucky deal.

Then, you get all these B10 games on frigging Peacock. More money, I know, but you can't beat "free ESPN" from a viewer's perspective

The people that haven’t realized this and figured it out and quit believing the propaganda are sucking their thumbs. But it’s very hard to fix dumb.

83% of West Virginia has internet access in their home

My oldest son has espn+ so on rare occasion I want to watch something there I use his
ACCNX is free if you have Comcast so I use that a good bit to watch Pitt wrestling and volleyball and basketball

There are free internet options to watch 95% of non televised games. Streameast, cracksteams, methstreams, and others.
I want to...especially on a day like this.....flip channels quickly and aimlessly, not go in and out of streaming values taking 2-4 minutes between switching. **** Streaming stuff. It is getting ridiculous the more of these venues that are. They are designed to separate your money from you and until I can do it quickly, I am not a fan. Trust me, I stream ESPN+ and others, especially to watch Pitt or Landman, etc...and yes, I sometimes have a game on TV and on a computer, but you morons who would prefer to stream and watch on 2"x2" screen on a phone vs a 65" TV is an idiot.

It's taking me about 3 seconds between channels for the three current games using my fire tv and VitaIPTV. Could make it quicker by skipping over channels using my recently watched category but I can wait an extra second or two.

I laugh when fans pound their chests over conference tv money without realizing that they themselves are the source of the money.

I’m shocked WVU won this game considering they didn’t get into Lawrence until 2am this morning due to plane issues. Good for us!

TNT will start airing some Big 12 games next season, so the Big 12 situation will slightly improve next season in terms of games on national TV.

You know you can stream to your 65 inch TV?

I'm with you on the VitaIPTV. I took a chance to try it and now it's been 10 months and I love it. Switching channels is simple as adding them to the favorites list, so it's 2 clicks instead of one. I will certainly live with that considering I have not missed any game or match of something I wanted watch and also have access to every single service spending a fraction of what most folks spend on only limited channels.
The only downside I can point out is a lack of channel info as I scroll which can be a pain since there are say 30 or more ESPN+ channels. The search option helps with this somewhat.
My subscription is up in February and I most certainly will purchase another year.

That's interesting. I didnt know that. Apparently, Warner Brothers (who owns TNT) sued the NBA over not getting the TV rights. As part of the settlement, ESPN is giving (or selling, not sure) TNT 13 Big 12 football games per year and 15 Big 12 basketball games. This isn't new money to the Big 12 as its similar to our CW deal in that they are sublicensed games from ESPN but yes, it would appear these games would be taken off of stream-only paid subscription ESPN+ and put on TV with TNT.

All you need is $40 Firestick to stream anything on a TV that you can stream on a phone.

ESPN+ is a must for fans of Pitt's non-revenue sports. How else can you watch baseball, soccer and women's volleyball? While I'm not a huge fan of soccer, it is kind of nice to be able to watch a match during the week. And early season baseball on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when it is cold and snowing outside is great. And I don't know how anyone can call themselves a real Pitt fan if you're not tuning into women's volleyball games.

You don't neccesarily need ESPN+. You can get most games on the app without being subscribed to ESPN+.

The first two or three rounds of the Volleyball tournament were on ESPN+.

For the 100th time, this is not true. If you have ACC Network, you can watch every sporting event from every sport where an ACC team is the home team....for free. The exception to this would be the NCAA Tournament for Olympic Sports because those are under a different TV contract.
