Again he's got things slightly twisted.

The cupboard wasn't bare when Foge took over.

While Dixon may have found a way to squeak into the tourney with last year's team, they were his players... he didn't exactly set up this year's team as evidenced by his last three recruiting classes. If he were here he would have left his own cupboard bare, there would be no post season, and you would really be hearing from the Jamie haters. It's ok to say he contributed to this. And its simply partly his fault. It doesn't diminish what he did here for 10 years. His departure and timing worked out for him.

You can have it both ways. I loved Dixon and will always be grateful for what he did at Pitt. He is the best coach in Pitt history and there is no doubt about it.

But I also realize for whatever reason he struggled over the last years of his career and left Pitt in a bad spot.

I'd say PSU is a Volleyball school, then wrestling school, then a fencing school, then probably a football school.
