That's the thing with the schedule they had. He was insulated because he didn't have the opportunity to make bone headed decisions like that against Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana, Minnesota, a down MSU team, etc.

Yep. I advocate going for it on fourth down more than most, but damn, you need to have some sort of situational awareness of what is going on in the game. That was a huge mistake.
See, I have no problem with going for it the second time. But the play call? Man, that was stupid.

Franklin has good players but at least twice this year he did not have them ready to for a big game.
As long as we have Nards and the nits have the dominator I like our chances each and every game. I don't care who he brings in.
