We might have done this question before in a Friday Discussion, but that was probably a year ago, so let's run it down again:
If you went to Pitt or lived in Oakland, where did you work?
My work history in Oakland started at Hillman Library in the Stark Listening Center which was, quite frankly, awesome. We were responsible for circulating the various CDs and LPs that you could check out from the library, so I would sit in that part of the library and listen to music for the whole shift. It was great.
Then I worked at Giant Eagle in Squirrel Hill, and that was not great. Nor was working at DialAmerica, a telemarketing firm in Parkway Center; that sucked in every way possible.
Mostly, though, I worked at Schlotzsky's. That was on the corner of Forbes and Meyran, and while it was probably a bit overpriced, the sandwiches were pretty good. I worked there for quite a few years and met my (eventual) wife while working there. That was fun.
What about you? Where did you work in college?
