Of the coaches we are considering, I don't see anyone as good as Dixon. You think Matta is as good as Dixon, let me answer for you.... NO. We better figure out how to get Miller or we will be in the wilderness for years.

Dixon is a very good coach, one of the best for sure. He just needs good (not great) players. He greatly outperforms his talent.

Yea... what an abundance of great ACC talent he recruited on Pitt’s roster after Mike Young, Jamel Artis, Jeter, and Cam Johnson left.

Remind me again where all those superb talents ended up after leaving Pitt.

He was a great coach here at Pitt. I’m glad we had him. Was a great guy to talk to. But let’s not pretend he’s not to blame in the downfall of this program.

This thread was started with the clear intention of a so called Pitt fan to be nothing but a troll.

And since the troll brought it up, Dixon does not have Matta's resume. That doesn't necessarily mean Matta is the better coach because circumstance, schools, etc... are not always comparable.

I do not hide that I thought Dixon was a fine coach when he was here, but he's gone now -- nearly two coaches away.

Good for him and TCU. But I really wish folks would refrain from posts like this because they never end well.

Sorta reminds me of some of the Hoopies that yell Eat S**t Pitt at games.....games versus Kansas. Like the jilted lover, just can't let go of the past.
