Baylor can absolutely pay more than Virginia Tech. Do a google search for football revenue amongst the 4 playoff participants. Clemson was wayyy behind the other 3. The thing that helps Baylor is that it only has 9 other institutions to split XII monies.I'm really not sure Baylor is a better job. TX recruiting might be better, but Baylor isn't the top dog in the state. And the Va. area is not too shabby. Can Baylor really pay thst much more than VT?
I wouldn't be surprised if he is doing this just to get some leverge for a pay raise.

Oh great. You have the metrics. I don’t. I just know that Baylor is more likely to pay greater $ than Whit. Go ahead and post. Interested to see the comparison. Thanks.Baylor may be willing to pay more, but it has nothing to do with their athletic department revenues/expenses vs. VPI's, because VPI beats them in every financial metric.

Seems to me Fuente has been a good soldier keeping Foster around and a few others from the Beamer era. It can’t be easy being less popular than your defensive coordinator in your home state.Let’s just say the people around the football program like Fuentes as much as the basketball people liked Greenberg.
There are some annoyed people right now, including Frank Beamer. Fuentes recently fired a coach who is very respected and was part of the coaching staff for a very long time. The way it was handled and portrayed by Fuentes was inaccurate.
not to mention this coach is one of the most successful VT staff members not too far from retirement. No I’m not talking about Bud.
Keeping Foster was really a no-brainer. Firing a position guy with a particular record, very strong history at VT, and class, and telling people it wasn't firing is the problem. IT was done before the bowl game, that is the strange part of it.Seems to me Fuente has been a good soldier keeping Foster around and a few others from the Beamer era. He is staying at VT.
No, not a tickettaker or equipment guy. A position coach who killed us in recruiting. Remember all those defensive ends and other d-linemen we missed out on.ruh roh, another equipment guy jettisoned? ticket taker?
