this is going to be a special team.
The backups looked excellent and building depth at every position

May come down to that one position again.

The "Pitt's Big T MAC!" I like it.......& "Narduzzi's DiNucci's Duo!"TMAC will be special..
Will not have officer, JJS or O'Neill. Way too early to predict but just out of curiousity, why would you be excited for '18 more than '17?If you want to talk about special years, talk about 2018. They lose very little in the 2017 senior class and will have a QB with a year under his belt.
That was a poor team and a mediocre coach.A word of caution. Remember 13-9? How that was supposed to be the big launch point to great things? Yeah, how'd that next season go...
NOPE, agree to disagree, this ain't Penn State, this is the Pitt Panther-Lair, No Excuses, No Waiting, No Negative Recruiting Whining, No Sanctions Crying, Pitt will be Ready To Play on Day One in 2017 and at the Whiteout! Where 'Oh, Canada" Will be Sung!If you want to talk about special years, talk about 2018. They lose very little in the 2017 senior class and will have a QB with a year under his belt.
Narduzzi & Staff is not Wannstedt & Staff start to get use to it, plus, there is no Re-Pederson around anymore!A word of caution. Remember 13-9? How that was supposed to be the big launch point to great things? Yeah, how'd that next season go...
We were 5-7 that year (including the win at WVU). The next 3 years we averaged 9 wins and we're one game away from a Big east title and a trip to the Orange Bowl.A word of caution. Remember 13-9? How that was supposed to be the big launch point to great things? Yeah, how'd that next season go...
Students have been great this year generally speaking...even though it's not as easy as rolling out of your South Oakland bed, going to a house party and walking up the hill. Our Alum have always been fickle and not too supportive.Absolutely - now the students and alums need to step up.

+ we lost 3 games by a total of I think don't hold me to it 11 pts>???
We easily could have had an unbelievable year ex the Miami letdown!
Trolling is dumbA word of caution. Remember 13-9? How that was supposed to be the big launch point to great things? Yeah, how'd that next season go...
Yeah, the team could have been in an entirely different mindset if they had held onto beat UNC and taken care of business against VT. That Miami game would have practically locked up the division. Of course, the same is true with Clemson maybe approaching our game differently.I would even say if they win 2 of those 3 games...a different team shows up in Miami. It's been an exciting year.
Good point!I would even say if they win 2 of those 3 games...a different team shows up in Miami. It's been an exciting year.
Truf!Honestly even if we had the Miami game, still a different year if we win 2. We would have the same record as Ped state and we beat them head to head, so one would have to think we would be ranked ahead of them... meaning... damn good ranking!
Yes. The only time strength of schedule matters is when you are a top 4 playoff contender. And guess what? In a few years that won't even matter because the path to focus on will be conference champion auto berths.Well if this year shows anything it's play a crap schedule and you'll be ranked high.
We shouldn't play any more good teams. Other fans bitch at it as we do ped state every year but at the end of the day wins/losses is all that matters. If you're 8-4 against a top 10 schedule an10-1 Boise st will still be ahead of you. It's debatable if that's right

Not so bad...Sun BowlA word of caution. Remember 13-9? How that was supposed to be the big launch point to great things? Yeah, how'd that next season go...
Tennessee Vols fan here, gotta say I love your coach. Tough as nails and seems to be a great motivator. How does everyone feel about the little Italian? I assume everyone likes...thanks, good luck rest of way and so glad y'all beat that whiney ass guy at that other Pennsylvania school. Oh, and thanks for delivering the next POTUS.
