Whitehead - apparently will talk to his mother about what to do. I’m putting money on jumping to the NFL, which I think is the right thing to do.

O’Neill - going to play the process out. I think he’s a good athlete and would grade out well. Being selfish, I hope he returns.

Moss - saw him get pt vs UNC, but then nothing vs VaTech. Is he done here?

MacVittie - from everything I heard, he and his family still love Pitt, but he’s done at the QB position. I look for him to move to H-Back/TE or transfer down to play qb at a low level school.

Ja Williams - 5th year guy that is just not that good a football player. I can’t see him being asked back.

M Henderson - really hasn’t been able to crack the lineup and get PT. Just not good enough and has been recruited over.

Off of just graduating Sr’s, they have 11 slots open. They have 12 verballed, and I would think 2-3 more to come. I wouldn’t be shocked to see everybody in my list above gone and maybe a dissapointed player like Flowers, Pilato or Motley also go. Then you have the complete wildcard in Kam Carter. Who knows if he’s worn out his welcome as I haven’t seen him take a snap in a few weeks now.

Honest question, is it possible the "Pro's" outweigh the "Cons" for O'Neill's return?

If MacVittie is out of the Qb plans and it certainly appears that way then the staff must bring in a QB with some experience ( grad transfer or juco) simply for protection at this position. Think about it we will have Dinucci , a true soph in Pickett , who I think is gonna be a three year starter, and a true frosh in Patti from New Jersey. That is really cutting it too close and we all know how important this position is. Like point guards you can never have enough protection at the QB spot.

Pretty hard to convince an experienced QB to come in and not start and pretty bad to bring in a guy to pull reps from Pickett. We definitely need another QB but hard to see it happening in a way that makes sense.

No more 5 star transfers. Not one has been any good.

I thought it was posted last week that Malik Henderson is gone. Transferring to one of the South Florida schools near his home.

He left the team after the unc game?

And I don’t remember seeing Henderson transfered, but it makes sense.
