No clue about his recruitment but this is a great sign.. If he was such a psu lean (which a lot of us think he is/was) you'd figure he would have verballed by now. I don't know much but I know getting the last visit, a week before LOI day is more than just a local kid being nice to the home school.

Penn State. My cousins live in Glassport and most are saying that he is going to pop after his official on the 22.
Oh yeah, that is where McKeesport kids go. I bet Mike blue and WHite gave the kid the WPIAL player of the year honors in exchange for the PSU commit. Makes nearly no sense to give it to him with 1200 yards rushing, and lost early in the WPIAL playoffs. Just crazy. There were dozens that were more deserving, including Sanders who is PSU bound. After I saw White named him I figure he is ped bound

I would not get too down if I were you. PSU could run out of room by the time he decides to commits. If that happens to be the case, I'm hearing Pitt could be his landing spot. Good athlete and would fit well in Narduzzi's system.

Scratch what I just said. There was an open period where he was not taking an official the 29th. Obviously, that's no longer the case. Pitt will host KH the 29th. Pitt has a shot.
I am not down at all... honestly, I think Chase Pine is the better linebacker, and rivals agrees. I think not many people on this board at all thought we even were in the running, I still dont. I think we are running out of spots as well, but we would certainly add a 412 kid.

I agree with you - Chase Pine will be a great player (I myself would take Pine over Hudson). Michigan was on the cusp of offering, Notre Dame and Penn State were showing interest. I'll say it again, but Chase Pine is a steal. Look out for Justin Fuente and the Hokies to make a push down the stretch though but my gut tells me he'll be in Oakland for the next several years.
Agree... we will be trying to hold onto him. I think with Pugh and Pine we are already better at linebacker next year

I disagree, Pine and Pugh will need a couple years! Take a look across the country and most defensive lineman and linebackers take 2 sometimes 3 years to make a difference.
Side note, I talked to a 'Quip alum on Saturday and some feel like he is destined for prep school.
If Hudson watched the game yesterday he must be thinking he can get on the field early. NO redshirt for athletic defensive players!
Dont get me wrong... I know if true freshman are playing linebacker you are most likely in trouble. But, I do think they will be playing. I am not saying they are starting, but I think they will be a fixture in the rotation.

1) Narduzzi would be a great coach to play for, someone who can fully develop my talents.
2) Under PN, talent wins out. Whitehead is the example of how quickly you will see the field if you can deliver.
3) Based on the defensive talent I saw on display yesterday, I can get on the field quickly.
BTW, I also love Pine, but suspect it may take a year or two before he is ready.

glassport is not mckeesport... your cousins are lying to you if they think they know anything about him.
I think Penn State has such great history with McKeesport because of Bradley.
To be honest I have not a clue and frankly anyone who thinks they do is lying. He's been so tight lipped. I just think the longer this plays out the better for Pitt... if he makes it to the Pitt ov then there's a shot... but long story short Noone has a clue on him....
the guy is a nit wit. If a 4 star recruit chooses Pitt it is because of bad grades, they said the same thing about Boyd and Conner.
Btw, I was banned over their board for linking a story about their recruit Dwumfour not making grades and having to study to try to be eligible next year. Now, I made no other comment, and linked an actual article, and I was blacklisted. But a guy can come here and stir up stuff about grades, with no evidence and not get blacklisted

So? Are you trying to say he doesnt like Penn State more than Pitt? I believe he has said he goes to PSU games before in his articles? Why would it matter where he went to college if for one reason or another he directs players or tries to direct to certain schools? Not saying he does that, I dont know at all. But, it is a head scratcher why Hudson would be player of the year, isnt it?
Probably... I havent read his stuff in years. I was jealous that the nitters had him writing for them as he was a good writer actually, and Pitt could never get someone so enthralled with our program.
Chris Peak, himself, said on his podcast in October it would be somewhat of a longshot if Pugh qualified. He used the word longshot.
Yes that was before Pugh shocked the world and made the Honor List. Word these days is he's better than 50/50 to make it.

Joe did a great job of schmoozing the media and we have several in Pgh who drink the koolaid about the supposed "Camelot amid the cow pastures" in the middle of the state, regardless of where they attended college. It was actually quite smart, and I wish Pitt would have managed the media better because it definitely helps the cause
Bradley is from Johnstown. There is a ups branch in McKeesport as there are many locations around the state.
I wish Pitt fans would stop posting things like "I don't think a McKeesport player goes to Pitt..." Like a self-fulfilling prophecy, these types of statements only help perpetuate this notion.
