1. Very pleased with intensity.
2. Attendance sucked but we've had Lucy Yank that football away hundreds of times so anyone attending after last week is a true fan. Won't belabor the point.
3. Ffrench has to turn those sweeps in.
4. KP has a big heart, but he has got to learn to accept an incompletion or throw so only his guy can catch.
5. We dropped a long pass down the middle on our 2nd flea flicker.
6. 2 flea flickers in one game is pushing it. 3 is foolish... especially deep in their territory.
7. We lucked out on two dropped passes.
8. I could never be a Tech fan. Their coach is an intense weirds mobile.
9. Our tackling was very good.
10. Were the calls that bad?

11.....I cannot take our PA announcer and his contrived enthusiasm... cheerleading.

Yes we were lucky on their drops, but then again they were lucky we dropped some as well. Both sides got lucky recovering their own fumbles a couple times too. Each side had one that could have been disasters.

If flea flickers keep the opponent D loose for our bread and butter plays, I'm for em. We just need to practice em better.

You can overhear PA announcers with that kind of Get Ready To Rumble stuff on broadcasts from many games, not just ours. It's contrived, certainly, but seems the trend. Like so much other junk, like the electronica music snippets blasted between each play, like its a rave (usually minus the ecstacy, literally and figuratively).

Ha. I didn’t even notice the PA announcer but loved the tunes between each play. Honestly can barely distinguish what the band is playing and you can easily see the songs are noticed by the players. Even saw a GT kid hopping along with a song while he was on the sideline.

The long pass to Lopes wasn't dropped. It was badly underthrown because Once again, Pickett waited too long. The DB caught up and deflected the ball away. The only drop from Pitt was on a really nice deep out to Mathews on 3rd down.

I'm starting to really get excited about Pickett. He is too hesitant right now but that is just experience. His mid to deep outs are devastating and he has shown the ability to place the ball perfectly for screens and short passes.

When his timing gets a little quicker on those deep strikes, his feet, our running game and the way our O spreads the field will be very tough to stop. We're close!
