We’ve talked about recruiting, player development, and coaching hires. What we haven’t talked about as much is Capel’s coaching— I am a fan. In no particular order:
1. Defense has been there all year
2. The unselfishness and trust we’ve seen build from the beginning of the season to now is easily noticeable
3. Players are learning to attack the zone—just look from the beginning of Cuse to this game for evidence
4. Rebounding has improved considerably
These are all good signs of a coach that has the potential to win consistently because the kids are taking what is told in practice and applying it to a game
