Yeah, we are not double teaming down low at all so far ..... Ododa and Young both with 3 fouls ...... I guess Jamie doesn't want GT to shoot open 3's which is what often happens when we double down low.

When a team is lighting it up from 3 and killing you on the boards, the zone is the worst possible defense to play.
Well they may as well at least try or go zone- this man to man isn't worth a crap

Pitt has expanded its lead on a 14-6 run since Del said they should go zone.
Zone is what you do when a team is killing you inside... .not when they have a guy like Smith who is super hot from 3.
And when the other team is killing you on the glass, zone helps them kill you even more.
Maybe one of the assistants is monitoring this game thread and doing the opposite of whatever Del says. Kind of like the George Costanza thing.

90% of the time, when a shooter goes off like Smith did tonight, that team wins.
Says a lot about Pitt that they weathered the storm and never trailed after 2-0.
Mitchell now has 11 double-doubles. That's not unusual for him. He's a beast.
Adams did get 20 against UNC last game.... so this isn't unheard of.... but he was something else.
