GAME THREAD - Pitt vs NCSU .....

Tourney starts early for us. Let's get back to mid-season form and roll through this!
 
JRob seems like he refuses to shoot unless he's 100% open. Sometimes you need to take advantage of a little space and let it fly, especially from 3.

Missed his first shot, may not shoot again until the second half...
 
Not looking good. Just a terrible, careless turnover by Jamel.
 
pitt players are acting like they are afraid to shoot the ball? playing with zero confidence, looking like they are ready for this season to end
 
This is painful to see the sloppiness on offense and indifference on defense.
 
that 8-0 run might the turning point of this game

State started slow but instead of jumping on them we stumbled and bumbled and now they are streaking
 
I can't imagine what Dixon was hoping for with a lineup ...

Yeah, I would take Newkirk out and put Lecak in with that lineup...... send a message !

Excuse me guys!

Jamie recruited these " complacent" guys, kept them on the team, and guess what this is the end of the season!

So the staff hasn't been able to move the team from " complacent" to active??? Complacent = Lazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When do we recruit guys like the announcers just said are like the previous Pitt teams who liked to play D and could score???

what is wrong with Artis? he walks around with his head down, often. Strange, like he is sort of depressed/doesn't have a lot of confidence.

This is something I have noticed all year

This team just looks like it wants the season to be over as much as we do
 
NCSU 20 Pitt 13, 7:56 to play 1st half ....

would like to close out the 1st half strong.

Really reminds me of the CBI season. When Woodall came back we went on a little run but then collapsed again. I was hoping we would get some magic back for this tourney but it does not seem like that is going to happen.

Having Young and Artis out there. These guys are cooked. Nothing left in the tank. Doesn't matter who's out there.

We haven't looked good so far but we can play a lot better ..... we have to start now !
