I recall Duzz heaping major praise on Yarnell saying something like “Wait till you see this guy” or something like that. I think it was last Spring or last year sometime before he got hurt.
I know we all have ragged on Vincent Davis in year’s past, but what a great 3rd option on the depth chart.
If we can give a shout-out to Chris Peak he said this would be the exact game plan if Yarnell or Kyler played. How WMU has 13 points is a head scratcher.

I would be a little more impressed with that comment if he didn’t also say that same thing about a few other backup QBs who ended up transferring out because they got such little playing time.
Good for Yarnell. A young guy need that shot of confidence. He did everything he was asked and did not hurt the team.

Not particularly compelling but nice to win in a really tough situation with injuries. Concerning for coming weeks, especially not knowing much of anything of many of these injuries, but one at a time. Past teams might have lost this one.
I have been super hard on our O-line, but they came through and wore out WMU in the end.
Great road win redemption, really thought it would be tough, real tough with a third stringer at qb. They matched what MSU did to them, but on the road. If they can impose their will over weaker opponents, maybe they can get back to the old days, and make a return to prominence!
I don’t think anyone really ragged on VD. He runs like a MFer. I think it was more the insistence on running him up the gut on short yardage situations.
Disagree..2nd half he did a good job. 1st half we wasted downs.
And I’ll admit that Yarnell looked quite accurate and capable of moving the ball down the field when given the green light to throw a bit.
