Before committing to VT, he had posted a ton of positive stuff about us on social media last year. Maybe we do have a legit chance here.

I saw he backed away from VT....but did mention they are still his leader.

He would be a big get. It was a good scoop by Vuc, he did have the info before many had.

VTs recruiting is in a world of hurt. Fuente seems a major dud. At the same time just up the road, perennial losers Maryland is on a tear with a first year head coach.

I remember last year, Garbutt was SOOOOO pro Pitt on twitter that I thought he was going to verbal to us then. He was almost over the top. I think with all the D recruits we had this past year it might have made him shy away a bit. But I think any big time talent knows that you will play anywhere if you rise to the top. Honestly, Pitt or VTech have good D schemes and he should be successful either place. But I think he will find out Pittsburgh will be home for him
