So many designated starters didn’t wrestle it is easier to name the ones who did: Zanetta, Lee, Rahmani, Wentzel, Bruce and Solomon. The results were not good. Squeaked by Cal State Bakersfield 21-18 and were routed by #18 Wisconsin 23-6. Solomon won twice and so did Zanetta. Rahmani lost to an unranked wrestler from Wisconsin. Wentzel won once and lost a close match to a ranked Wisconsin wrestler. Stout lost twice. Price, O’Brien, Lee and Bruce were as bad as would be expected.
