I guess this kid isn't a "find", since he was a walk-on, but he is such a tough, throwback-type FB player.

Have to love the effort he gives - blocks really well and always seems to cancel out his man. The pass catching is a nice bonus. Was fun to see him bowling-balling down the sideline on that one 3rd down play.

Said in his post-game interview that the previous staff switched him from LB to FB - and he wasn't happy about it. Hats off to the old staff on that one. He sure has a nice niche on the team right now. And he's only a red-shirt freshman - imagine with another year or two in the weight program...

He is a very nice kid, very respectful and humble. Got to meet him after the Notre Dame game as his dad dragged him back to our tailgate at his uncles request. I'm sure after the ND game that was the last place he wanted to be, but when I was introduced to him, he thanked me and others for having season tickets, being in the Panther Club and supporting the team . I have known his uncle since my college days over 30 years ago. Talked to his dad before the game yesterday.
