GT favored by 6 currently per ESPN.

However, to look on the positive side--

--GT's season is done tonight as they don't get to play in the ACC Tourney.

--We can be seen as "overdue" to get an upset win after losing 6 straight.

Game can be watched via the computer or mobile device on the ACCNX.

So 3 teams have a "bye" on the weekend? I thought it was just us. At first, I would have thought that would have only been a "1 team bye" matchday since its the last weekend and a popular time for college hoops. But perhaps with the ACCT starting on Tuesdays, the ACC tries to project which teams would be playing the first day to give them more rest? We had the final weekend off 2 years ago also so its not like they are going in order.

With this being GT's final game, I see almost no way we can win. We are 2-34 on the road since Jamie left. A near impossible feat.

Since I switched to YouTube TV to get ACCN, I don’t get AT&T Sportsnet. This is the first game that I haven’t either attended or gone out to watch. Can anyone provide a link to a free stream?

Thanks in advance!

You can watch it on the ESPN App on your phone if you switch off the wifi. That way it doesn't hit the Xfinity network which blacks it out.

I think Tech has won 7 of its last 10. I cannot see how Pitt wins on the road tonight.

Yep, that would work. Unfortunately, I don’t have unlimited data - pretty sure watching the entire game would kill my data plan. I was just looking for a free steam. Plan on checking reddit before the game, but thought someone may post a link if they have one.

Don't know how it would effect your data use but you should be able to watch on your computer or tablet via ESPN by selecting You Tube TV as your sponsoring account for ACC Network Extra live streaming. I will watch on my ipad that way. Of course, my satellite wifi provider gives me unlimited data so I am not using up my AT&T cell phone data alotment.

I'll probably jinx this by the time I get home to watch the game, but for those of you outside of Pittsburgh that use Fox RSNs on YTTV, Fox Sports has been on all week for me.

It doesn't seem like YTTV has dropped them yet, like they said they would and I haven't seen any announcements.

Wouldn't that only use up about 1-2 GB of data?

Actually, the other thing you can do is not watch it until it ends. The replay is available for free even on the wifi. Put it on about 11:30 so you don't actually join a Double OT game late.

There wasn’t a formal announcement, but the official YTTV twitter account did reply to someone on Saturday that they had a temporary agreement to keep the channels while negotiations continued. Hopefully a sign that they’re getting closer to a deal

Ok, thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, it will be blacked out for me if I log in on my YTTV account because it’s available on my local cable. I guess this might be a good time to check out VPN. I’ve been thinking about doing that anyway.

These aren’t byes. We are just finishing our schedule early for some reason.

Even more depressing... we are 13-60 in the ACC. That just might be an ACC record for futility over such a stretch.

Having said this ... I have a good feeling about tonight. I think Jeff gets his guys to respond.

Verizon Fios is our friend

Google 720pstream

No idea if it works but a friend claims it does.

Their season is not done tonight, they play at Clemson on Friday.

They responded very well Saturday against NCSU. Just ran out of gas last 5 minutes. NCSU is a better team that had a lot on the line. I think we can pull it off.

I’ll be in Cranberry watching the game in the comfort of my home via DirecTV. No reason to switch.

I’ve had too many friends/relatives who have had problems with Directv that I just don’t want to make the two year commitment. May need to consider it again next fall depending on how negotiations go.

I’ve had very few issues, and they have always been willing to work with me. They reduce the bill and provide extra channels when you negotiate.

I would take a forfeit tonight from GT.

Sadly, I would agree.

But even with a forfeit, GA Tech could put 5 tall chairs out there in the form of a 2-3 zone we'd likely win 43-0.

LOL - They ran a 1-3-1 against us last time. I will be interested to see what defense they run against us tonight.

Looking at the way that ACC teams have played down the stretch, we are the worst team in the ACC relative to everyone else. I know a big part of that is the lack of talent. But I thought we had at least equivalent talent to GT. Apparently, our talent as a team is not close to theirs at this stage of the season. Or to anyone else's. Disappointing how we have been treading water now or regressing. You know the old saying....you're either getting better or you're getting worse. We're getting worse, unfortunately.

Technically you are what your record says you are so we are one game better then last year LMAO

I was unfortunately able to see the game in Fl . Pitt simply can’t play offense well enough to win games against anyone whose making their shots . GaT bigs were way to strong and they moved the ball around and found the open man . Bottom line is that they have better talent and they were far and away the better team last night .

Looked totally lost like they slid back to 0-19.
Like a panicky CYO hs team when they have the ball.
McGowens is shot.
wow

I’ve held off commenting a ton during this slide, but last night was just brutal. Winning on the road is hard in any league this year, but GT just isn’t a good team. When I looked at our last stretch, I thought we’d at least pick off 1-2 wins with the likes of GT, Cuse, and VT on there but to lose out is just terribly frustrating and disappointing

I’ll stand by my comments earlier this year that the true evaluation of Capel begins next year. That said, these are basically his guys that are driving this bus off a cliff this year and that can’t be overlooked. The only way to a post season bid of any type next year is for all parties to stay and start rowing in the same direction. Anyone hoping for a tear down and trying to plug holes with grad transfers is being reactionary and/or foolish. Teams built on the fly rarely work out unless you’ve got some serious talent and, even then, it’s dicey (look at Memphis). We need these guys to stay and get better.
