Even though I know we won't!
But, this South Carolina cop was excessive in dealing with the the girl in class, right?
I agree. I also think this girl needs to listen to authority. Not obeying a teacher, administrator and cop in one sitting is not a good way to start life. But she didn't deserve a beating.Even though I know we won't!

How many times have similar situations been misunderstood because something was missed in the particular viewpoint of the video? What if that view missed that the girl had a gun, for example? That isn't true here, apparently, but it could be.you saw a grown man throw a girl around. how much more information do you need?
Very good post.i did the job of that guy once in a younger phase of my life (sort of - wasn't a cop but responsible for those types of kids). it's just a ridiculous tactic. it's a tired, frustrated man with poor training. you'd never do that.
i'm not into physical contact, etc but sometimes kids are acting like complete a$$holes. i don't know what went on before this but sometimes you get what you get in life. i'm not talking excessive police force, throwing innocent people on the ground, roughing them up. but sometimes you act a fool in life and people behave badly as a result. this wasn't an 8 yo kid.
now, again, the guy is wrong and just shouldn't be in that line of work. it's not good. but i guess kind of like chris rock - it's not right, but i understand.
the student sounds like a real winner.. Teacher cant kick a student out of the class so they need a watered down cop to get her out, she refuses, this is what happens.. Of course now a lawsuit is coming so cameras in all classrooms from now on.. This problem wouldn't exist if mommy and daddy acted like parents instead of letting kids act like azzholes..
The more I see of little thug punks like this, the more I side with the baby killers on abortion legality.. Not a better example of a fetus that should have been vacuumed out and flushed down the toilet than this girl.

I think the officer could have handled it a tad lighter in all honesty.. It was pretty funny though..you need to separate this garbage from the classroom, although maybe a little more civil..So you think the officer used an appropriate amount of force? And what exactly makes this girl a "thug," beyond being uncooperative in class?
LOL, for some reason, I doubt that Ben Carson needed to be escorted out of a classroom due to behavior.. The reason schools need cops on site is because students like this.. Like I said, someone that should have been "aborted" soon after conception.. Don't worry libs, this girl will be compensated for her thuggish behavior, used by tax dollars of working people, and she will learn no lesson and continue to act in this manner, get knocked up of course and her kid will be the same.. Cons better think again about their opinion on abortion.. This is the end result folks..

you are right, let's build a time machine and go back and kick him out of class. Im with you dop. they both should be reprimanded but I already know how this is gonna end.. All charges against miss thug will be dropped, an out of court settlement will be headed her way, I mean she has rug burn so that's at least worth 40k, and no lesson will be learned.. If anything, this has taught the students that they can literally get away with murder.. I feel bad for any teacher or administer in that school, talk about being powerless, they honestly can not do anything AT ALL... Not a good situation here at all.Benjamin Carson: Our heroes were the drug dealers, who brought candy for the kids.
Benjamin Carson: In the fifth grade, I was at the bottom of the class.
Benjamin Carson: I had an incredibly horrible temper. I was one of those people who thought they had a lot of rights, and of course, the more rights you think you have, the more likely someone is to infringe upon them. And I did get into fights, I would injure people. I tried to hit my mother in the head with a hammer. I would just become irrational because I would get so angry. It all culminated one day when another youngster angered me, and I had a large camping knife and I tried to stab him in the abdomen, and fortunately he had on a large metal belt buckle under his clothing and the knife blade struck with such force that it broke and he fled in terror.
Sounds to me like a thug that would have needed to be escorted out of a classroom due to behavior.

How in the world did this get turned into a Ben Carson thread.. You want to give single black moms MORE money? Dear lord, how much more? We are already paying for their abortions, food, rent, cell phones, jobs they would be unqualified for if it weren't for the color of their skin.. What else can we give them?Next you'll be telling me we should go back in time and strip his single mother's welfare benefits.
Or maybe... just maybe... the conservative presidential candidate is a perfect example of what could happen if we didn't throw young black kids in prison, or execute them in the streets for petty crimes, and we gave a little more to help single moms raise their kids out of these poverty-ridden situations. God damn you, irony!

you lost me dop. I thought we were talking about little shaniqua in a classroom.. I've communicated my thoughts on the growing dependant state in this country, as have you. We will not change each other's minds so yeah..I said all single moms. Single black moms are a small percentage of welfare recipients, but look how much good it does. Without welfare, Donald Trump would have no competition to the 2016 Republican presidential bid!

It appears so.
But I will issue my usual cautionary "let it play out" before rendering final judgment.
what's racist about Shaniqua?? Her behavior described by others, repeated disruptions and needing a cop to remove her from the classroom.. I've seen a lot of disruptive behavior in classrooms, have yet to see one that justified having a cop having to intervene.. That's not normal childish behavior were I come from. maybe you grew up and went to a school were that was normal, I didn't..Shaniqua? Really? I'm always amazed at the casual racism you show in this forum.
I'll ask again: what did she do to justify you calling her a thug? Beyond apparently being black.

I never once thought "Man, those disruptive kids sure are thugs." But we all know what that really means, don't we?
You want to know why you can't have conversations here? Its because of lines like this:Next you'll be telling me we should go back in time and strip his single mother's welfare benefits.

He would have died? That's a pretty serious statement to make without evidence.I was pointing out that the Republican presidential candidate, Ben Carson, would not have survived without his mother's reliance on the social welfare programs that you want to eliminate.
Counter to your misconceived opinion, the dependent state in this country (estimated by welfare spending as a percentage of GDP) is actually shrinking, and almost at its lowest point since the 1970s.

I went to school in the south hills too.. Never once have I seen a student be so completely confrontational to a teacher that they needed a cop to come in and remove them from the classroom.. Where did you go to school, sounds horrible if you saw stuff way more disruptive than this?I mean, I went to school in the South Hills and A) saw people in my classes being way more disruptive than a girl just sitting there, and B) weren't assaulted by a cop.
I never once thought "Man, those disruptive kids sure are thugs."
More so than before.

no video, multiple reports from students, confirmed by teacher and another administrator.. It's all over the net my man, check it out, this internet thing is a pretty cool tool.Is there an extra video out there where she throws something at the teacher? Or screams? Or actually does something disruptive? I'm still trying to figure out what the thuggish behavior is here.

Texting no doubt. Well worth a severe beating.Allegedly she was on her phone in class, teacher told her to leave the class (I guess go to principal's office?) she refused, things went from there.

Whatever it was, it was way over the line. I'll let the play by play to you. I know excessive when I see it.I don't think that's what the word "beating" means... if it is then every episode of COPS averages about 2 beatings at least.
The tossing her on the ground so violently I'd say that's the start of a beating at least. But then there wasn't any more. Dragging her across the floor isn't a beating. It just isn't. He didn't kick her or punch her or knee her or repeatedly slam her against something. He slammed her once which was more than bad enough.
This passive-aggressive snark is no good.

And our big word of the day is "contemptuous". Deeplemblues earns a cookie! How can you see it if you say right before that that you'll leave the details to someone else.
I've also already said about 3 times that I think it was excessive force as well.
You are so smart. Wait, no, I'm confusing a contemptuous manner with being smart.
