Was making a list of P5 Head Coaching positions that will be open at the end of the season. Maybe the list isn't complete but this is what I have...

Maryland
Minnesota
VA Tech
Miami
USC
South Carolina

Then where else could things open up? Maybe Texas? WVU? Georgia Tech? Georgia? Nebraska?

Which coaches jump to another P5 program? Rich Rod always comes up?

Just know a lot of cash will get thrown around.

I also expect, WVU to be added to this listing. As Coaches possibly leave Temple, Houston, Toledo, Memphis and Others those Opening will happen too.

Illinois: Dismissed Tim Beckman. Bill Cubit interim.
Maryland: Dismissed Randy Edsall. Mike Locksley interim.
Miami (FL): Dismissed Al Golden. Larry Scott interim.
Minnesota: Jerry Kill retired. Tracy Claeys interim.
North Texas: Dismissed Dan McCarney. Mike Canales interim.
South Carolina: Steve Spurrier resigned. Shawn Elliott interim
UCF: George O’Leary retired. Danny Barrett interim.
USC: Dismissed Steve Sarkisian. Clay Helton interim.
Virginia Tech: Frank Beamer to retire after the season.


I expect to see quite a few other P5 jobs to open up either due to firing/dismissal or due to a coach leaving for another gig. Will be a banner year for the carousel.
