Gonzaga...yikes

Seems like the Zags protect Timme on the defensive end. USC needs to attack down low.

Have been somewhat sloppy here the last ten minutes, too many turnovers. Few will let them know about it.

Nah-
Love Blair -
He was an elite rebounder .

but he isn’t in the top 5 of post defensive players in modern era

thabeet was a 7’3” toothpick

Thabeet also had a primitive offensive game, and as it turned out was incredibly overrated as he was an absolute bust in the NBA.

The scary thing about Gonzaga is they just reload rather than rebuild. They already have a commitment from the #6 incoming player nationally and are the heavy favorite to land #1 overall Chet Holmgren.

Amazing the little pacific northwest school bordering Idaho has bushwacked the field. They should hire Pitt experts and our fellow board experts to get better. These Pitt guys know basketball. Was Few on SMFs list?

And this team is better than their 2017 championship game team.

If they face them, I think Michigan gives them problems with their size. I'm hoping the match-up happens!

Talk about building a culture, Gonzaga plays extremely unselfishly, moves the ball so well. Few is amazing, loves staying in Spokane to coach basketball.

If you live out west you get used to east coast elites. I don't know where it comes from especially today but it is there.

Zags are elite and Mr Few has built a steamroller that doesn't show signs of stopping. Interesting this is only their 2nd FF? Heard the call on the game , like of surprised.

Not to mention Walker Kessler.

I'm hating on this dude already! Enough with his antics, throwing kisses and flexing muscles after scoring? What a jerk!
I like him! Like to see a white guy with anti-Yinzer attitude and arrogance :) :) :)

I don't know much about the place, but a Catholic school, in a small town, do they even have football, if they do, it has to be like Duquesne or something? So what is the pitch that those coaches used to get some of the top players from all over the world to go there for the last 20 years?

Spokane is a very nice place. It’s actually not really a small town. Over 200,000 population.

Spokane is a nice place, just left there after six years. Largest 3 on 3 tournament held downtown every summer that I know of. Love them some bball!

Still? Lot's of nice mid size schools, in nice midsize towns. What was their "angle" to get this good, to become a DESTINATION team for top players, like Duke, UNC, Kentucky etc.

This Zaga team reminds of the old glory days Laettner, Hurly, Hill Duke teams, in the days before one and done and transfer madness ruined college basketball.

Probably the best coached team, by a lot. Never stand around.

I would think the lack of football program, or a small football program, helps basketball recruiting. There's no question as a basketball player you are going to be big man on campus and on the front pages of the newspaper in the city of Spokane (and perhaps be one of the biggest stars between Seattle and St. Paul/Minneapolis).
