Good luck, Chad

You never know since Chaney is gone what might happen next year, with a new OC might just like Voytik, over Peterman, just might be a bit premature

Good luck, hope you tear it up. Always thought you handled your time at PITT with class and dignity. A true Pitt Panther.

I will always be a fan of Chad Voytik. He plays the game of life like a 1st team All-American!

Good for Chad, good for college sports. When a coach is permitted to leave prior to fullfilling his contractual obligations I see no reason why a student shouldn't be able to leave especially once he graduated. In my opinion this rule needs to be expanded in favor of the student athlete.

Chad was such a leader. His parents should be proud of his success and maturity. He kept the team together when the fraud left, played his heart out and lead us to victories, and never complained about losing the starting job. I hope he has a great senior year

Warner has an excellent article and interview with chad. Contrast chad with how hack left. Night and day

Considering the opening that just developed over the weekend, if he ends up with James from State Farm, I'll be sick. On the other hand, if he's interested in using the opportunity to further his education, he won't go near that place.

Chad was a great player and person to have with the Pitt program. I wish him nothing but the best in his future.

Pitt can stop him from transfering to state penn or anywhere else, I still think the QB job is up for grabs next year, with Chaney gone and new OC coming in, it's anybody's job, he will have competition anywhere he goes, why not here?

"I want whoever the new OC is to run a pro style offense, and that just doesn't fit your skill set. I can help you land somewhere if you want."
Just a guess.

You are incorrect on that statement. There are no restrictions on a senior grad transfer, Pitt has ZERO say in where he can go.
Didn't realize he is a grad transfer, I stand corrected, but I still think, with a new OC coming in he should compete for a job where he knows the offense, instead of competing for a job where everything is new to him, everyone thought at first peterman was chaneys boy, Chad did a just as good a job the year before, just because he is leaving Pitt doesn't mean he will start somewhere else

As I recall when Pitt was going through the coaching fluctuations that it was Chad Voytik who made calls to the recruits and persuaded them to stay with Pitt. He wasn't given a chance with Pitt's Tennessee OC -Georgia coach. Best wishes Chad you are a class act hope wherever you land that you will showcase your talent and work ethic that you didn't get to do this year at Pitt. All the best will always remember your contribution to the University as both a student athlete and ambassador.

Thanks, I do agree with you that I wish he would have stayed and tried to win his job back with a new OC. Sometimes people and players forget that the back-up QB is only one play away from being the starter.

There is so much talk of Hackenberg digressing under slick Jimmy that no one mentions the same about Chad under Chaney. I knew when Chaney brought pederman in that Chad had his work cut out, but with the way he ended 2014 under Chryst I thought it would be no contest as he looked like one of the best 2 way QB's in the conference. When he missed acouple of open receivers early in the season he only came in to run and teams knew this. I truly believe Chaney set him up to fail.

Good luck
He won us a bowl game too!!!

Lots of schools in Texas, especially just below the power conferences if he needs something like that.....

You know State College needs a QB.....

I didn't see regression from chad so much as I saw Peterman played better
