Yes. Just saw this mentioned by Schefter. And Louis Riddick's name has been linked to a few of the GM openings around the league (49ers namely) though I saw that note last weekend. Not sure if anything has changed on that front.
On the flip side, Doug Whaley's stock around the league isn't very high, but at least he's still employed.
That Whaley presser and all that followed was painful. He's in an awfully weird spot.
I have never seen in the NFL, since I started watching , where you have as many bad coaches and QB'S at one time, at the same time.
Pegula is running the show. Whaley is a good scapegoat for Pegula's poor decisions. He's certainly been hung out to dry, just as they hung their interim HC out to dry during his introductory press conference. I'm sure Whaley would love to land another job if given the opportunity.
Well, I heard whispers in NYC amongst some of the Pitt in the knows, that they would be interested in Whaley as AD. Not sure if it is mutual.
I think Jerry Jones knows more about football than Pegula, even if he is/was more meddlesome. Difference is Jones can cover up for his mistakes with a hell of a lot more money.
