Yo, Panthers. A long time UVA fan here. Should be a helluva game and a slugfest on Saturday. Good luck, and all that. Meanwhile, I had a little time and a little more bourbon on my hands, so if you have any questions or just want to smack me, I'm here for a couple of hours. LOL. Glad to answer and respond as best I can.

Did you ever get to see Shaub and Miller live? I used to watch them all the time and was thrilled the Steelers drafted Miller.

Oh yes. Both of them were really remarkable. Matt was a George Welsh recruit but Welsh retired the next year, I think. What I remember about him was that as a very young QB it was that that his football IQ was off the charts from the git go. Eventually, he got his shot to play, and it started off really rough. But then a year or so later he came on, and what I remember the most about him was how freakish accurate he was.

Heath, oh yeah. He was like a 2* star QB from a small town in Virginia who got converted to TE, and nobody knew him. I remember one day a bit later on going to a UVA spring practice. Afterwards, after pretty much everybody was gone, Heath was still out there working the JUGS machine. Back to the machine, spinning and catching a bullet pass fired at him while his back was turned. Like 200 times. I sat there for a while watching that. He's a God in VA.

What is your bourbon of choice?

2 answers. If I'm flush with cash I'll go Makers, Woodford Reserve or Bulleit Bourbon no particular order.

Answer 2 - most of the time I'll grab some Kentucky Gentleman or anything close, and just have at it LOL

True freshman Ja'Quay Hubbard grew up a few miles from me. How is he doing in practice?

Sounds like he's been killing it. He jumped a lot of guys to make the 2 deep, which was a pleasant surprise (depending on how you look at it). Some of the guys he stepped over were/are pretty highly regarded. The coaches love him. I kinda want him to redshirt, or do the no more than 4 game thing to redshirt. But hey, to come into fall camp and make the 2 deep as a true Frosh like that speaks for itself.

Have you ever streaked the lawn?
Is Gus Burger overrated?
How many years did UVA's March Madness run take off your life?
Can you send me a hot pot from Peter Chang's?
Do you call campus "grounds?"

Have you ever streaked the lawn?

NO

Is Gus Burger overrated?

At 2 a.m. a Gus is exactly what you need in the gut.

How many years did UVA's March Madness run take off your life?

LOL a bunch, bro. C'mon, that many thrillers in a row? Damn.

Can you send me a hot pot from Peter Chang's?

Peter Chang's is one of those places that really lives up to its rep. Awesome. But no, ya gotta visit next season if not before and get one yourself.

Do you call campus "grounds?"

Yep, it's a "thing" that will never go away, and we don't want it to

Has Charlottesville dried out yet from last year’s game.

Yeah that was a straight up bog wasn't it? Miserable. Especially with a loss. And what's more, Scott Stadium has a pretty hot drainage system and all of that, probably not as good as a pro stadium like yours, but still that was like playing ball in the surf at the beach.
