Looks like the NCAA may now come to their senses and allow a kid to declare himself eligibile for the draft and go through all the draft workouts and evaluations then opt back in for college.

Despite, one or two people thinking sitting at the end of the pine, or worse, riding the buses in Sioux City, Iowa are the best route to develop, I don't think so. Especially not maturity.

I think this will allow a kid to get accurate information, even though his posse or hangerons who just feed nonsense into their heads about "grabbing the money when you can" that the money may not be there for you.

It's a man's league. Anyone watching the finals should know this. Also know this, Men, are not going to let 19 year old kids take their paychecks. I think it is a win/win/win. Win for the kid to get accurate information to make a final decision, good for college BB as maybe the talent drain slows a bit, good for the NBA by not trying to have to babysit kids who don't belong yet in the NBA.

Gee....you heard all that on 93.7 this morning, too.

Yes, yes I did. And.......your point?
No attribution, though there's no glory in parroting those clowns.....they couldn't get a single caller to bite on the "What to do with Polanco" theme. Just no fun with those guys.....bring back Cope!!

Wasn't parroting, just thought it was an interesting possibility. And one that makes a lot of sense.

Yep.....long overdue. I think they're talking about a "camp" or tryout approach, where objective evaluators can tell the kids their realistic chances. Keeps the agents & "posse" from ruining a kid's situation.
