a lot of programs. MSU has come a long way in the past several years. Basketball has been strong for many years--but football was always lackluster. Then in 2008, Mark Hollis was hired as AD & 7 years later, Spartan athletics are riding a historic high, and all without scandal or at the expense of academics.

Anytime. I like Pitt even more, but there's not a lot of material to post right now, is there? Just a bunch of abject speculation about how we might try to resurrect our recruiting to the point where we can actually compete in our own league. Will we get Diallo? What about Rowan? No, yes, maybe. Real hard hitting stuff there.

The article should give PItt fans hope. MSU has been strong in hoops since Izzo but lackluster in football until the right coach and AD were hired. Now they are top shelf in both, and one of the ways they got there was by great camaraderie and cooperation within the athletic department.

If it can be done there, it can be done here.

My only point in posting the link.

You are now free to return to the important stuff: endless threads about the future intentions of Cheick Diallo and Mav Rowan, as well as the latest Sean Miller arguments, and maybe what assistant coaches might be available should Dixon finally acquiesce to the Lair faithful and decide he needs to fire his entire staff.
