I WANT bad things to happen? No. That is absolutely not true. I want Heron to decommit. I want to the hoops team to not make the NCAA's. I want Rowan to go elsewhere.Originally posted by SoufOaklin4Life:
I don't..because I'm a grown up.
I have plenty of things to get emotional about in real life... not about the entertainment.
If I get bored watching Pitt, or any sports team..I do something else.
And I'm clearly here for the conversation..and pointing out what a bunch of whiny weak-willed myopic douches are.
Frankly owt- I've pointed this out numerous times... you, and plenty of others.. WANT BAD THINGS TO HAPPEN.
Because, you want to feel like you're smart for predicting it.
Which I find a completely baffling mentality..but, it's classic yinzerdom.
The perpetual negativity is why people are so intolerable- and ironically..feel THEY are entitled for better results, which is circular bit of nonsense.
If a junior deciding not to stay committed to Pitt makes you emotional...you need to find something else to live for.
That is asinine. And it is another feeble attempt by the apologists to try to deflect the issues. Shoot the messengers. it is classic.
Because guess what, I Pitt goes 0-30 next year, deep down, I could care less. Hey, I not just survived but lived life to the fullest in the mid 90's when Pitt football was on the zero end of the 72 point beat downs. I can easily put if away.
That is the truth. And it is easier for you too, you live in Raleigh. I lived in Greenville, SC then. When you have some distance, you tend to be able to dismiss things and replace it with something else.
But to say I want bad things is just absurd and patently untrue.
Now, do I think it is hilarious when someone posts yesterday that the next shoe to drop would be Heron decommitting and the guy missed it by two days....yeah. That is hilarious. I like dark comedy.
