It will be interesting moving forward to see what creative tactics PSU uses during the recruiting process. The more Franklin gets exposed for the coach he is, the more desperate he and his staff will become in trying to make PITT and other programs look bad.

Fact it, PITT has been putting more quality young men in the NFL than PSU lately, and all-time.

If PITT beats PSU next season, look for their staff to become extremely desperate.

Seems like it takes alot of effort and maintencance for Clairton guys and really only Boyd has ever really done anything more than a backup.

Consider this: Mathews (who was just offered by the nits very recently, by the way) was Slippin' Jimmy's first commitment since August. Why? Because once the season started, the incessant BS from Franklin was replaced by the reality of the actual games. Recruits got to see firsthand - yet again this season - what a horrible job of actual coaching that Franklin was doing. So the skepticism naturally set in and the commitments to the nits stopped.

That's a good point (about Franklin not getting recruits lately). PNs recruiting picked up after the season started, and players got to see what kind of coach he is.

A school like Clairton is not going to be a true pipeline for very long. They didn't produce many D1 kids up till about 5 years ago and will soon taper off again.

Wade would be a great get so I hope a senseless night on twitter isn't a reason for Lamont to look elsewhere.

He already has the attention. He can play wherever he wants. There literally isn't a school in the entire country that wouldn't take Wade FWIW. We are talking about one of the top couple if not the very best CB prospect and one of the best overall prospects in the nation.
