He choose Pitt over PSU and said this “When I went to visit Penn State, I knew they had great facilities and they are known for the best parties but I truly didn’t care about that stuff. I felt more comfortable at Pitt. It was clearly a better place for me."

And he also said how cool it was that the Steelers share the facility, and he was blown away when he saw James Harrison.

I doubt PSU facilities are superior to Pitt’s! You also don’t see this up at PSU

No, you don't.
Here is another quote today from a big time 4 star DB from Detroit that Pitt just offered.

"The most shocking thing that caught my eye was that they practice right next to the Pittsburgh Steelers. To me, that’s amazing because you can improve your game by just learning from them”, said Kelly-Powell.

Didnt Penn State win biggest party school a while ago? Now, even though I actually find that difficult to believe in that florida state and arizona st do indeed still exist, I still find that something PSU can finally tout over those blow hards at University of Phoenix

You mean a visit to the creamery wasn't convincing enough or let's put your name on the scoreboard and introduce you oh that's right that didn't work how about the party bus oh that's right 3 out 4 precincts reported and they said other candidate. I wonder if they will send a party bus II this year?

I think it will be a struggle to keep our coaching staff in tack every year, as we saw with Chaney (although, I think that was more a personality issue).

But, this is a big point you brought up. You really didnt hear those comments with Chryst or other head coaches we have. Narduzzi is a straight shooting guy with lots of energy, likable.

With the Sandusky scandal still fresh, a visit to the Creamery doesn't sound too appealing to me.

THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO DO THERE!!!!

Goose on his visit to Penn State:

It didn't take long to notice that they had this big pasture of cows right next to the stadium and the whole place smelled like cow shit. All I could smell the whole time was cow shit; it was crazy. I was just thinking, Oh my God, I can't smell anything but manure. It got overwhelming. Of course, Joe Paterno was a good guy when we met him, but the whole place was a little over the top for me. Kind of like a cult. Little did I know what we would all find out years later.

The cult-like atmosphere is something any products wants from it's followers. Just the sheep in central PA flock to it more than most

They are so stupid up there they think naming their big recruiting event after the well known scene of the crimes is a great idea. They don't realize when anyone outside of State College hears "Lasch Bash" it conjures up a very unpleasant & disturbing image. I can't believe their PR firm hasn't advised them to change the name of the building.

OH Pete - every time I read those words "Lasch Bash" -- I think the same think. Are they totally deaf up there to the way that sounds to the rest of the world?

(I do feel sorry for Lasch family for the inevitable association to their name...)

Go Pitt.
