I mean when does a stereotype quit being a stereotype....Could these kids BE more of a Duke player.....Allen with his smarmy look about him and Kennard who looks like he cuts his hair with a salad bowl....oh and they also are good hoops players......

QCMW's only take of the hoops game

Thanks

Big difference with Allen is that he is a GREAT athlete. Not a Reddick type in the least. Huge hops, great quicks. He does have the most punchable face in history, though.

He's strong, too. Really a tough guy I'd love to have on our team.

You're WAY under-selling Reddick, though. He's not averaging 16.6 PPG on a good team because he's one-dimensional.

Sure you do.

Notice you didn't use Ingram, Thornton, or Jones as your examples?

The stereotype is white suburban kids who are very skilled.
Oh there is no doubt I meant white, goes without saying, I don't see Luther in that mold as a punch able player, as another poster said

Agree. Redick is/was very athletic. People would give him the Steve Kerr-type stereotype because he was a white boy known for bombing it--but he was big, strong, quick and explosive as well. Hell just the way he elevates for his jumpers makes that pretty obvious.
