With an overall successful (frustrating, but successful) football season and a few cross country runners qualifying for the NCAA championships, this is likely the most successful fall sports season in Pitt Athletics history.

Is it the Director's cup that ranks programs? Pitt has absolutely gone up in these rankings. Anyone know the impact lyke has had on rankings since she was hired?

Pitt is always going to have a ceiling because the Directors Cup awards points for every sport, so Pitt’s smaller sport count is going to limit the ranking. On a per sport level, though, we’re probably doing pretty well.
