Guesses on Pitt v Miami gametime?

This game has almost always been Noon ABC game dating back to Big East time and I would expect that to continue.....
The 2003 Miami game was on Thanksgiving not Friday and at least a couple WVU games were Thanksgiving too.
The Friday games have always been Noon games, I can't remember any that were not. Maybe I'm wrong
I totally expect Noon and that is fine with me.................. cook breakfast tailgate.

I'm with you on non night game. Getting too cold this time of year and I'm getting old...... The 2003 Miami game was one of the coldest games I've ever been at.....and I've been at a lot from Steelers to High School to Pitt since the 60's........ I'm sorry a night game on Friday after Thanksgiving just doesn't fit for me..............I'll still be there whatever it is.

It's Black Friday. It almost certainly will be an earlier game.

I must have really blanked out because I could have sworn 2 years ago was Noon too. I stand corrected.
I'll be driving in from up Mercer area that Friday so coming to game doesn't bother me Noon or 3:30 but I really don't feel like driving back up there at 10/11pm either if it's a late game.

I heard a rumor it is a later starting time. Don't hold me to it ...lol.

I don't know how many other big games are on Friday this year.

There aren't a lot. Iowa at Nebraska is probably the big competition for the "prime" 3:30 ABC spot. Baylor at TCU is the marquee game of the day, but that is already locked into a 7:30 ESPN slot. Navy and Houston also play that day, but I don't know who will have the television rights to that one.

The only other P5 games that day are Washington - Washington State, Oregon - Oregon State (already locked in to 3:30 but with no network yet) and Missouri - Arkansas which is slated for 2:30 on CBS.

The Houston-Navy game is the property of ESPN/ABC because its on a weekday, if it was a Saturday it would have been CBS Sports.

My guess (or hope) is 3:30 on ESPN as a lead in to the Baylor-TCU game. Just don't be noon!
